Amour is a small jewelry shop in Ho Chi Minh City. Almost everything we stock carries a motif that already means something — a lotus for fortune, a four-leaf clover for luck, a crane, a heart, a lock. That is the filter we buy through.
How we work
How a piece gets in.
Most of what we sell we select from the market rather than manufacture. We go through supplier catalogues each season and keep the designs that read as something — a symbol, a flower, an animal — rather than decoration for its own sake.
Designs are stocked in small numbers. When a piece sells out it usually returns, but not always — we would rather let a design go than reorder something we no longer stand behind.

They decide what we put on the shelf, and just as often what we leave off it.
Say what it is
Pieces carrying our own branding are listed as Amour Originals. Everything we select from the market stays labelled as a market find. No blurring the two.
Meaning before decoration
A motif has to stand for something before we consider it. That is why the shop is full of lotus, clover, cranes, wheat and hearts rather than abstract sparkle.
Priced to be given
Most brooches sit at a price you can give without ceremony. The point is that someone receives it, not that it looks expensive.
